Hectic time spent away

Hey guys,

I haven't posted in a while, and I wanna get back in the rhythm. So without further ado, I have a deck update.  Gravekeeper's!!!!!!!  I don't know if you guys have heard of duelingnetwork.com, if you haven't you really should check it out.  Well I've been trying to fine tune my budget Gravekeeper deck and this site has really helped with that effort. Here's what I'm currently running:

All I really did was take out the two Priestess, the rite of spirit and the swords.  I added the Solemn, two Dimensional Prisons and the Guard.  So yeah, let me know what you guys think.  I'll test it in real life at a tourney as soon as I get my hands on a Solemn Judgment.  Thanks, see you around.  

P.S. I'm more than likely will be taking this deck to Regionals on the eleventh of next month.

Poetry?

I'd like to take some time to explain the title.  From time to time I will post poetry.  I know I'm not the best, but I wanna get my voice out there.  So here's a sample:

Open the door of your heart
even if what I may find will hurt me.
Don't Hesistate,
Never doubt it is best.
In the end, I will remain,
You will see its truth.

       A secluded heart gaining pace.
              Ice into Fire.
 Yet you run-
 -from what could be...
Ignoring, Leaving, Forgetting,
the beat of my heart.

     My selfish thoughts
     long to caress those beautiful features
     upon your angelic face.
     No, something more,
     Emotion is intertwined with desire.
     Once again, I am yours.

Perhaps with time
these words may fade;
        but written in our heart

        among the darkness of our despair.

Local Report

So, I had fun this past Saturday.  Friends of mine and myself decided to go try our luck at locals.  I ended up getting first and got store credit in the amount of twenty-eight dollars.  The natural thing to do of course was to buy packs.  I bought 10 packs of extreme victory (had twelve dollars in store credit beforehand).  I packed T.G. Halberd Cannon and all three of the new Blackwing monsters.  Below is my current decklist, which I will be working on later to include either eradicator epidemic virus or deck devastation virus. I'm leaning more towards the latter.  So without further ado:

Hey

My given name is Gustavo Chavez.  I was conceived sometime before March 4th, 1991.  Hobbies include that of reading, and lately this has been over run by my playing of Yu-gi-oh.  The game has gotten quite expensive as of late.  Not that I know any better, I can't say I was much into the competitive scene beforehand, mainly because I had no means of going places.  I've had my share of topping at locals.  Now, I'm trying to do the same at Regionals.  I run Gravekeeper's and am happy to say, that this will stay this way for a while.
